Three Quick Things

The semester is moving along and there is a lot happening on campus. I just wanted to send you three quick messages.

Have you been to the new STEM Study Area in the PCL? It is amazing. Whiteboards and power outlets galore. We are working to continue to build up the TA support that is meeting in the new area, but there is plenty of space for your study groups to congregate. It is at the back of the main floor when you enter the library, next to the Learning Commons with the Writing Center. Check it out!

Tomorrow, Tuesday 2/2 is the Technology and Science Career Fair, from 1-6 at the Frank Erwin Center.

For you Seniors: Sign up for the Senior Countdown 2016. Participants get networking and career events, a special class gift, and more. The deadline for the Class of 2016 is Feb. 3. See your advisor to sign up now.

Finally, keep studying. The first round of tests is right around the corner. Start the semester strong.

Best,
– Dr. Vanden Bout
